Mazda’s Diesel Lola LMP2 class prototype.

Based on the Mazda6 diesel road car engine, the 2.2-liter turbocharged four-cylinder SKYACTIV-D clean diesel powerplant made it’s debut in the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship in 2014. The Skyactiv-D uses a “synthetic diesel” made from fats and oils left over from meat processing. With diesel powerplants not allowed in the 2017 LMP2 regulations, Mazda running a gasoline engine from Advanced Engine Research. Also beginning in 2017, Lola will no longer be a sanctioned manufacturer.

These are original designs created and printed in my Studio. Proportions of the artwork vary slightly by size, the 13” x 19” and 16” x 20” prints are pictured. The paper is a 100% cotton rag, 330 gsm weight, matte surface, archival fine art paper. The surface of the art has a lithograph like appearance. Prints are unmatted, and ship in an archival quality plastic sleeve. Frames not included.
